Terms & conditions
Courtesy translation. The French version prevails in the event of a dispute.
1 — Purpose
These terms govern the sale of printing, reprographics and related services by COPIE IN LA CHAPELLE (the “Provider”) to any person placing an order on this site (the “Customer”). Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.
2 — Seller

3 — Prices
Prices are in euros including VAT (currently 20 %). The price shown when you confirm your order is the price due. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown separately before confirmation. Outside our direct delivery area, carrier costs are confirmed to you before dispatch and only incurred with your agreement.
4 — Your files
You are solely responsible for the content of the files you send. You warrant that you hold all rights required to reproduce them (copyright, trade marks, image rights of any people shown) and indemnify the Provider against any claim.
We print files as supplied. We are not required to correct spelling, layout or resolution problems. Where an obvious defect is spotted before printing we will tell you, but this vigilance is not a guaranteed outcome.
We refuse to print unlawful content, including infringing, defamatory or hateful material.
5 — Payment and deadlines
Payment is by card online or in store on collection. Card details never reach us; they are handled by a specialist provider. Stated deadlines run from receipt of a usable file and of payment, and are indicative.
6 — Collection and delivery
Collection is free at 32 rue Philippe de Girard, 75010 Paris, 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm, on presentation of your order number. Where delivery is offered, the conditions shown at the time of ordering apply.
7 — No right of withdrawal
The fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to our services.
Under article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for “goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised”. Print work is produced from your own files and choices and cannot be resold. By confirming your order you acknowledge this and expressly waive that right.
This exclusion does not cover standard, non-personalised goods sold as they are.
8 — Conformity and warranties
The statutory guarantee of conformity (Consumer Code, art. L217-3 et seq.) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Civil Code, art. 1641 et seq.) apply.
Any complaint about a visible defect must be made within 7 days of collection or delivery, with photographs and a sample. Where the fault is ours we reprint or refund at our expense.
The following are not defects: colour differences inherent to the move from screen (RGB) to print (CMYK), normal shade variation between print runs, and faults originating in the file you supplied.

10 — Liability, files, governing law
Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned and excludes indirect loss. Files are kept only for as long as needed to complete the order and handle any complaint, then deleted — we provide no archiving service. These terms are governed by French law.
